The Skill Development Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry had organized a very unique initiative tilted “Photography and Business Networking Tour”. The tour started from 3rd June 2022 and ended on 5th June 2022. The photography tour was at the Queen of Hills – Darjeeling, a tourist destination noted for its scenic beauty, quaint houses, friendly people and the mountain panorama that it provides.

The tour was a three days and two nights residential programme. Participants arrived at Darjeeling on 3rd June 2022 afternoon and after boarding at Darjeeling Sinclair’s they had a small workshop session with photographers. The night concluded with an informal business networking dinner and cocktails. The next morning, after breakfast, the group headed for sightseeing and photography. The group visited Lepcha−jagat, Jor Pokhri and Gopaldhara Tea Garden where participants took some amazing clicks. Late afternoon the group had lunch at Hotel Anutri followed by photography of Batasia loop which was visibly located from the hotel. Business leaders again had an informal networking dinner and cocktails on 4th June at Hotel Sinclair’s. The tour concluded on 5th June 2022 after breakfast. All participants were pleased with the initiative and expressed their desire to be part of similar photography tours in future.
