The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized the 4th edition of BCC&I Step Forward: A Power Session on “Happiness as a Growth Quotient” on Wednesday, 14th September 2022 on Virtual Platform.

BCC&I Step Forward, a specially curated power talk session of Lifestyle Committee aims towards “Good Life – Happy Living”. This edition highlighted that Happiness is not a destination; it is a state of emotional well-being that a person experiences as a positive evaluation of one's life and accomplishments. The session focused on how to attain true happiness. 

The session was addressed by Ms Diya Jaiswal, Founder, Empowerful, who spoke on how happiness affects every aspect of one’s life. She explained how our minds have been trained since childhood to think that everything will turn out well and fine. Numerous areas of life, including as longevity, interpersonal relationships, productivity, and overall success, are influenced by our level of happiness. Workplace happiness increases dedication and loyalty, which further improves performance and productivity and produces superior results.

The session was joined by Mr Aninda Das, Head - Marketing & Corporate Communications, Infinity Group who highlighted the importance of happiness as an integral part of progress in life. He emphasized how happiness is one of the prime constituents of oneself and restoring this constituent is one of the key objectives of well-being. Through this programme, Infinity aimed to communicate to the senior citizens about Royal Ageing under its new upcoming project Jagriti Dham.
