The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized “Cryptocurrency Masterclass” on 30th April 2022 in hybrid mode.

The Entrepreneurs Committee and the IT Committee of The Bengal Chamber embarked on this initiative for its members and stakeholders, to upskill their knowledge about Digital Currency and Cryptocurrency, to make them understand what is the technology behind it and what is the investment process in crypto.

It was a 6 hours session, conducted by Mr. Vinod Reghunathan, Internet Entrepreneur. He addressed on Fiat Money, Cryptography, Blockchain and its future, Altcoins, Bitcoin, types of Crypto Investing; NFTs, Metaverse.

There was participation of 34 representatives (20 represen− tatives − digitally; 14 representatives physically in the Chamber premises) , from the organizations like− CDAC−Kolkata, Indian Oil Haldia Refinery; Haldia Water Services Pvt Ltd; Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research, Kolkata; Institute of Engineering and Management; Marine Container Services (India) Pvt. Ltd.; Neotia Institute of Technology, Management and Science; Prediqt Business Solutions Private Limited; Saha Steel Pvt. Ltd.; SRMB Group; Tax Connect Advisory Services LLP; Vedant Fashions Limited to name a few.
